King (2.06 meters, 27 years old) averaged 9.9 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 36 German League games last season. He helped Artland to reach the German League semifinals and the EuroChallenge quarterfinals. King has also played for Aris BSA 2003 in Greece, InterCollege Etha Engomis in Cyprus and Deutsche Bank Skyliners in Germany, as well as being a member of the Cypriot national team. He helped Etha to lift the Cypriot League and the Cypriot Cup trophies in 2011. "I am glad that Anthony stays with us. He gave us a lot of stability last season and shares responsabilities for the success we had," Artland head coach Stefan Koch said. "I expect him to play even better in his second season with us. His good attitude and ability to accept his big role will help him. He is a very effective player."
