EUROLEAGUE 2010-11 COMPETITION SYSTEM

QUALIFYING ROUNDS
Sep. 21, 2010 to Oct. 8, 2010

The first qualifying round will have 16 teams playing in two-game series (home and away),
the winners of which will advance to the second qualifying round.
The losers of these two-game series will play in the 2010-11 Eurocup Regular Season.

The third qualifying round will have 4 teams playing in two-game series (home and away),
the winners of which will advance to the 2010-11 Euroleague Regular Season.
The losers of these two-game series will play in the 2010-11 Eurocup Regular Season.

If, after the Qualifying Rounds, a team that qualified to the Euroleague Regular season is from
a country where there is already a representative in the same group, it will trade
places with the other qualified team as long as this does not produce the same scenario.

Round-robin system. Each team plays 10 games within its group.
The best 4 teams from each group advance to the Top 16.
