Artland Dragons have made their first signing of the offseason by bringing in guard John Goldsberry for two years. Goldsberry (191, 24) arrives from Bayer Giants Leverkusen, where he averaged 8.1 points and 4.2 assists in 32 German-League games last season. He also led the German League in steals, collecting 2.6 per game. Leverkusen was the first team in his professional career after playing college basketball at the University of North Carolina - Wilmington. Goldsberry averaged 11.2 points, 5.2 assists and 2 steals in his senior season. Goldsberry replaces Filiberto Rivera, who will not be back in Quakenbruck next season.
