All four Spanish teams still alive - Valencia, Lleida, Estudiantes and Joventut - won the first games in their series. Valencia looked particularly strong while pouring in 105 points, but the second games would prove anything but easy. Valencia hung on for dear life to advance despite a 13-point loss.
