Alba Berlin star: Julius Jenkins

Dynamic guard Julius Jenkins is not only Alba Berlin's leading scorer, but also one of the club's longest-tenured players. As such, he knows that reaching the Eurocup Finals is Alba's best result in European competition since winning the 1995 Korac Cup title, and therefore already special for fans in the German capital. In just his fourth Eurocup season – and third with Berlin – Jenkins earned a spot among the Eurocup's all-time top 10 scorers earlier this season and is the only player in that elite group to reach Vitoria-Gasteiz. He also ranks among the Eurocup's best 10 career three-point shooters. Jenkins started his professional career in the German second division and made his Eurocup debut with Belgian club Euphony Bree, ranking as the competition's fourth-best scorer in the 2005-06 season. Jenkins joined Alba in the summer of 2006 and has become a fan favorite due to his three-point shooting and fighting spirit. Jenkins already has German League Finals and German Cup MVP trophies on his mantle. In Vitoria-Gasteiz, he hopes to add another piece to that collection and bring home Berlin’s second continental title, establishing himself as one of Alba's all-time heroes along the way.
