"First of all, it was a huge, physical effort for both sides, and this is one of the things I give credit to my coaching staff and my players, how they managed to play until the end with the energy that was needed for this kind of game. UNICS is a very, very experienced team, a team that was made to win the EuroCup. This is their way to go to the EuroLeague, where they have been several times in the last 10 years. We must be not just satisfied or happy, but proud of what we did, but it is over. Nothing is done yet, it is just a small step; we have to continue enjoying the ride and the process of becoming a team that might have a chance to play for this title. We have to think about the next opponent that we have and forget about this game as soon as possible, which nevertheless, we received a big push from our fans, which I thank personally. I believe they understand how important they are for us here. It is something that we count on, of course, in the future. The nervousness was obvious in all three games, in both sides, especially in our side shooting-wise. In our first half here [in Game 1] and the second half in Kazan [in Game 2], we had 0 of 11 three-pointers. It is not easy to play games like this without good shooting percentages from the three-point line. We managed to get some open looks; sometimes we rushed them, but we had very good ball movement and good open looks. The game was won defensively. Once we controlled the offensive rebounding of UNICS, that was the biggest key for us in this game. We managed to keep all the defensive rebounding options on our side and I believe they didn't box out well in the second half. After that, we had some good runs and some points in transition."

"It was a tough game, like all the games that we played with Bayern. First of all, congratulations to Bayern for qualifying to the semifinals. For us, as long as the game went to this extended score, 91 points, our chances were becoming less and less, because this high score, allowing 91 points, is too much to win a game on the road. Offensively, we scored - we had 81 points, but we should have approached some quarters in a more defensive way. Bayern had a very good day in comparison with our previous games, shooting better three-point shots, especially in the first half, and found multiple ways to score against us. We were not so focused off the ball and they scored a lot of backdoor baskets or behind our backs. Anyway, for us the EuroCup competition is finished and we have to focus on the VTB League. Congratulations again to Bayern. All the best for the rest of the season."

"Our crowd got us into it. We just stuck to our game plan. We had crucial times at the end when we made plays and that is what got us the win."
LASME, STEPHANE
UNICS Kazan
"Bayern is a well-coached team. They did a good job keep their composure, even when the game was not going for them. Congratulations to them - they played hard for 40 minutes. We made a lot of mistakes defensively and that is what cost us the game."
