"I expected things would not look pretty today. We spent too much emotion in Moscow against CSKA. It was hard to get ourselves focused for this game, though we knew the importance of securing first place in our group. Ploesti hits threes like crazy, and they kept the game close until we figured it out on defense. Our guys tried to do things for the fans and sometimes it was too much. This is Lokomotiv's 16th win in a row in the Eurocup dating back to the 2012-13 season, but we shouldn't think about it too much. Khimki won 15 in a row and lost in the first round of playoffs. Anything can happen in the Eurocup, so you should do your best to be in the right shape at the right time. "
ARNAUTOVIC, VLADIMIR
CSU Asesoft Ploiesti
"We were in the game for three quarters and even more. My guys were fighting and doing what we expected them to do on defense. But we made 17 turnovers - this is too much - and most of them resulted in fast break points for Lokomotiv. We wanted to force Lokomotiv play half court offense, but gave them too much freedom in the end. I want to thank my guys for fighting hard against a Euroleague level team. "

SIMON, KRUNOSLAV
Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar
"It was a good game for us and an important win. It's hard to play in important games after such an emotional win against CSKA. We looked bad in the first half, we were slow. But we did everything right in the end and proved we are a better team. Today I had a lucky day with my shooting; you can't go 8 of 9 from the field without luck. "
FLOWERS, JONTE
CSU Asesoft Ploiesti
"We played good for three quarters. But in the end we made too many turnovers. You can't do that against team like this. You can't allow turnovers while trying to build a come back."
