The Take

This is the only group in which no team has qualified yet. The most critical game is played in Turkey, where Galatasaray Odeabank Istanbul (3-2) hosts Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari (3-2). Galatasaray is first - and CAI Zaragoza (3-2) second - if it beats Sassari. Galatasaray is second if it loses and Szolnoki Olaj (1-4) beats CAI, and is eliminated if it loses and CAI wins. CAI has a chance to be first if it wins and Sassari downs Galatasaray. CAI is second if Galatasaray wins, no matter its own result, and will be eliminated with a loss if Sassari wins. Unlike Galatasaray and CAI, Sassari cannot qualify with a loss. Sassari is first if it wins and Szolnoki wins, second if it wins and CAI beats Szolnoki, and out if it loses.

Quotes Head Coaches

CALVANI, MARCO
Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari
"It’s a do or die game for both teams, there is no chance of recovery to the lost game, so we know both have to try to make the full result. Galatasaray is a team with great potential, built to win the competition. We’ll go to Istanbul with a very positive attitude, aware of the strength of our opponent and even amare we should be ready to put energy and determination for all 40 minutes."

Players

D'ERCOLE, LORENZO
Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari
"We approch this match surely with more confidence, after our last two good performances. We’ll play the round with a very strong team, in their home and we must try to bring this to our advantage, knowing that probally the greater pressure will be on their side. We have to play with energy and intensity from the beginning to end of the match. Galatasaray is a very talented team, so our defense will be crucial, a good defensive job will be the basis on which we must focus."

Head Coaches

ATAMAN, ERGIN
Galatasaray Odeabank Istanbul
"After the Zaragoza win, we played this like a final. We made many mistakes in the first half. In the second half, Sinan, Curtis and Stephane played great. Now, we are first place in our group and we are in the eighthfinals. We will play against Pınar Karsiyaka. If we pass this test, we will go to the quarterfinals."
CALVANI, MARCO
Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari
"First of all, congratulations to Galatasaray Odeabank. I think our team performance was pretty. Our defense was good, but they took 18 offensive rebounds. We had alternative systems. We stopped Blake Schilb and Vladimir Micov. Both players missed many shots but they found second chances. In my opinion, Group N was a much tougher group than the other groups. We're eliminated, but everything became clear only in the last games."
