Guler tried to stop the bleeding with 2 foul shots, but Zvarykin and Veremeenko dropped two more bombs from behind the arc to give Unics a 49-33 lead at the break.

The third quarter got under way with a free throw by Baxter. Petr Samoylenko scored for Unics, and Guler answered for the visitors. Popovic picked up where he left off with his sixth three-pointer, and Loncar added a dunk-plus-foul shot to push the lead out to 57-36. "I will not speak much to comment on this game. We have won, and I'm pretty satisfied with it. Although Besiktas lost, I would like to say that I like their manner and the style they are playing."
BIYIKTAY, BURAK
Besiktas ColaTurka
"First, I’d like to congratulate my opponents on their victory. As a matter of fact, the hosts were the favorites this evening, since they have such a good roster, while we lacked two injured players in our line-up. Marco Popovic was almost perfect with his many three-points shots. In the first quarter we tried to keep up, while in the second we didn't manage to have the defense we wanted to have and thus we let Unics acquire a good advantage, which helped them win the whole game. The final margin was a very big surprise for us."
