NYMBURK: Lee, Slezak and Kremens coming back
Perennial Czech League champion CEZ Basketball Nymburk started to get ready for its third consecutive season by extending three core players for one more season. As such, point guards Arthur Lee and Pavel Slezak, as well as three-point threat Michal Kremen are set to stay in Nymburk at least until the 2009-10 season. Lee (186, 32) averaged 15.2 points, 4.2 assists and 2.2 steals in 6 Eurocup games last season, his first with Nymburk after a long career in European basketball that included stops in Greece, France, Israel, Italy, Croatia and Turkey. Kremen (200, 27) just finished his third season with Nymburk. He averaged 3.7 points and 1.8 rebounds in 6 Eurocup games. Kremen has been a member of the Czech national team, as well as winning three consecutive Czech League titles with Nymburk. Slezak (185, 24) averaged 2.7 points in 3 Eurocup games, his second season with the team.
