SLUC NANCY brings back Brun
Stephen Brun stays with SLUC NancySLUC Nancy has announced the signing of forward Stephen Brun to a two-year deal. Brun (202, 28) joined Nancy midway through last season as an injury replacement for Lamayne Wilson and proceeded to average 5.3 points on 42.6% three-point shooting, 3.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists over 17 minutes in 14 French League games. Brun began the season with Croatian side Split, where he produced 6.9 points and 3.6 rebounds in 13 Adriatic League appearances. Brun began his career with Cholet Basket and has also played for Mulhouse, Nantes, Brest, Asvel basket and BCM Gravelines in his native France as well as Lausanne in Switzerland. He helped Brest win the French Pro B championship in 2005 and was named MVP. Last summer he made his first appearances for the French national team in the qualifying tournament for EuroBasket 2009.
