GALATASARAY extends Polat Kocaoglu
Galatasaray Cafe Crown and forward Polat Kocaoglu extended their deal until the end of the 2009-10 season, the club confirmed through its official website. Kocaoglu (205, 30) averaged 4.3 points and 2 rebounds in 21 Turkish League games this season, helping Galatasaray to make it to the semifinals. He has played for several Turkish teams throughout his career, such as Mersin Buyuksehir Belediyesi, Darussafaka, Erdemirspor, Beykoz, Banvitspor, TED Kolejliler Ankara and Tofas Bursa. He helped Banvit to win the Turkish League second division in 2004. Kocaoglu is now ready to make his Eurocup debut this season.
