SIAULIAI keeps coach Sireika
Antanas SireikaA well-respected, veteran coach is set to return to the Eurocup, as Siauliai has announced that Antanas Sireika extended his contract for one more season. Sireika, age 54, joined Siauliai last season and led the team to once again get third place in the Lithuanian League. Sireika won back-to-back Lithuanian League titles with Zalgiris in 2004 and 2005, also lifted the Baltic League trophy in 2005, as well as leading Lithuania to get the gold medal at EuroBasket 2003. He also won an Olympic bronze medal with Lithuania in Sydney 2000 as his national team's assistant coach.
