GRAN CANARIA signs Jaycee Carroll
Jaycee Carroll joins Gran Canaria (Photo: Teramo Basket)Kalise Gran Canaria has reached an agreement with Jaycee Carroll for the next two seasons the club announced Wednesday. Carroll (188, 26) arrives from Italian side BancaTercas Teramo, where he averaged 16.4 points on excellent shooting and 4.4 rebounds in the Italian League last season, his first overseas. The high-scoring guard finished his college basketball career at Utah State University in 2008 as the school’s all-time leading scorer. He was also named the Western Athletic Conference's Player of the Year following his senior season.

"I am happy that Jaycee will play for us for several seasons. He is a player I like a lot," Gran Canaria sporting director Himar Ojeda said. "I'm happy that he chose us because, after his superb season in Italy, he was a player sought by several European teams."
