TELEKOM BONN extends Flomo
Telekom Baskets Bonn extended power forward Patrick Flomo until the end of the 2010-11 season, the club confirmed Friday. Flomo (203, 28) averaged 4.2 points and 2.9 rebounds in 44 German League games last season, helping Telekom to make it to the title series against EWE Baskets Oldenburg. He has played for Bonn in each of the last three seasons. Flomo has also played for the Columbus Cyclones in the IBL, Hertener Lowen in the German second division, Eiffel Towers Nijmegen in Holland and UU-Korihait in Finland. he helpd Korihait to win the Finnish 1st Division title in 2003 and reached the IBL finals with the Cyclones in 2006. "This are great news. Patrick came from the second division and overcame a serious injury to become a top-level player," Telekom head coach Mike Koch said. "He is a great guy that I always can count on, a real fighter."
