TELEKOM BONN keeps Yarbrough, too

Telekom Bonn also keeps an option to extend his contract until the end of the 2010-11 season. Yarbrough (201, 28) averaged 6.9 points and 4.8 rebounds in 36 German League games last season. He has also played for EnBW Ludwigsburg and Brose Baskets in Germany, Reggio Calabria and Sicilia Messina in Italy, BC Oostende in Belgium and the Denver Nuggets in the NBA. Yarbrough helped Telekom to make it to the German League finals and the EuroChallenge quarterfinals last season. He helped Brose Baskets to win the German League title in 2007. "I am very happy that we can keep Vincent. He plays a very important role in our team," head coach Mike Koch said. "He showed last season that he can help us in many ways." Telekom already has seven players under contract: Yarbrough, Johaness Strasser, Patrick Flomo, Chris Ensminger, Artur Kolodziejski, John Bowler and Alex King.
