ZADAR signs small forward Micah Downs
Micah Downs (Photo: gozags.com)KK Zadar signed small forward Micah Downs for the coming season, which will be the player's first in Europe. Downs (203, 22) arrives from Gonzaga University, where he averaged 9.6 points and 4.6 rebounds in 25 minutes over 34 games last season. Downs was at his best late in the season, leading the Bulldogs to 11 straight victories, including the West Coast Conference tournament, of which he was named MVP. Gonzaga reached the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet 16 before eventually falling to champion North Carolina. Downs boasts great athleticism and was a participant in the 2009 NCAA slam dunk championships.
