TELEKOM BONN racks up Jared Jordan
Jared Jordan joins Telekom Bonn (Photo: nba.com)Telekom Baskets Bonn of Germany announced on Friday the addition of point guard Jared Jordan (188, 24) for the coming season. Jordan is a remarkable passer, who returns to Europe after getting his feet wet in the Euroleague two years ago with Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius. The playmake first made a name for himself with a fine college basketball career with the Marist Red Foxes, where he is the all-time leader in assists with 813. In fact, he became the first player to lead Division I in assists for two consecutive years since Avery Johnson did it in 1987. After his senior year, Jordan was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Player of the Year. In addition to his time at L. Rytas, Jordan has played for Rio Grande Valley of the NBDL where he ranked second in assists per game (8.8) and set a team single-game assists record with 21.
