"Alexey Shved is a complete player and a candidate for the [Russian] national team," said Dynamo general manager Gennady Drozdov. "He can play guard and small forward. Shved need game time and the trust of coaches and teammates to realize his vast potential. All this he will receive at Dynamo. Hopefully, Alexey's desire to prove that he is already a good player will benefit our team. And Dramir Zibirov is a talented, strong, bold and quick defender. I'm sure he will help our team."

"Of course, I am sad because I am leaving my team, my friends, with whom I was pleased to play and live," Shved said. "On the other hand, I'm sure I will be comfortable in Dynamo, because I know my future teammates very well. But the main thing [is that] I’ll get more playing time now. I am ready to fight for playing time in Dynamo, to play any position and do everything the coach requires."
