CEZ Nymburk added some scoring punch to its roster before the start of the second half of the Eurocup Last 16 by signing guard Dionte Christmas on Monday for the remainder of the season. Christmas arrives from Mersin Buyuksehir Belediyesi, where he averaged 12.6 points, 2.5 rebounds and 3 assists in 16 Turkish League games this season. This is Christams's second season playing professionally. Last season he was the Israeli League runner-up in scoring with 19.5 points per game for Hapoel Afula. Christmas first made a name for himself with an outstanding college basketball career at Temple University, where he was the Atlantic 10 Conference's top scorer for three consecutive seasons from 2007 through 2009 and led Temple to win its conference tournament in 2009. He was a two-time All-Atlantic 10 First Team selection and left the school ranked fourth on its career scoring list – behind two Euroleague players, David Hawkins and Lynn Greer – and as its all-time leading three-point shooter.
