CAJASOL extends Mario Cabanas

Cabanas (207, 25) has averaged 1.2 points and 1.3 rebounds in 18 Spanish League games this season, becoming a fan favourite for his hustle and blue-collar attitude. He had played for C.B. L'Hospitalet and Ciudad de La Laguna Canarias before joining Cajasol, helping the team to clinch a Spanish League playoff berth for the first time in 10 years. "I am very happy and have the feeling that I gave my best. It has been an intense year in which I worked hard and this contract extension is a reward," Cabanas said. "I am very grateful to our club and especially to Joan Plaza for trusting me. I know our working guidelines and will keep giving my best in every practice and also when I step on court."
