ANWIL re-signs forward Jovanovic

Jovanovic (205, 29) was one of Anwil’s top players last season when it reached the Polish League finals. He led the team in scoring with 13.8 points and added 4.9 rebounds for Prokom in the regular season and improved to 14.5 points, 6 rebounds and 1.8 blocked shots in the playoffs. Jovanovic has previously suited up for Atlas Stal Ostrow in Poland, InterCollege Etha Engomis in Cyprus and Swisslion Takovo Lions Vrsac, Zdravlje Leskovac, Egronom Best Nis and Masinac Kraljevo in his native Serbia.

"I'm very happy I'm staying in Wloclawek, because last season I realized that this is a great place to play basketball," summed up Jovanovic. "The staff and the fans create a good atmosphere to achieve success. We just finished the final, but I am already thinking about what is next for Anwil, because I believe that the best is yet to come. Everyone wants to grow, and for me it is the same. I feel satisfied with the achievements from last season, which was for me a big step forward. Now the Eurocup is another such step."
