BANVIT inks Bora Pacun
Bora Hun Pacun - Efes PilsenBanvit has agreed to terms of a contract with young center Bora Pacun, who inked a one-year deal with his new team on Thursday. Pacun (210, 23) arrives from Darussafaka, where he averaged 2.9 points and 2.8 rebounds in 25 Turkish League games last season. He has also played for KK Fersped-Rabotnicki Skopje in FYROM, as well as for Tuborg Izmir, Efes Pilsen and Istanbulspor in his native Turkey. Pacun helped Rabotnicki to win the FYROM League and make it to the Balkan League final in 2009. He has also been a member of the Turkish under-18 and under-20 national teams. He helped Turkey to win the silver medal at the 2005 European under-18 Championships. "Bora Hun Pacun belongs to a generation of very important players. We signed a one-year deal with him and will do our best for him to adapt to our team quickly. He has a lot of potential and keeps developing as a player", Banvit general manager Turgay Cataloluk said. "Bora has been unfortunate in the last coupld of seasons but I am sure he will be very helpful for us next season."
