Antonio Graves (Photo: Elan Bearnais Pau-Orthez)Banvit has found a new point guard, none other than Antonio Graves, who inked a one-year deal with his new club on Thursday. Graves (191, 25) arrives from Hapoel Holon, where he averaged 10.6 points and 2.7 rebounds in 13 Israeli League games last season. He had started the 2009-10 season with Cibona, averaging 4.5 points in 4 Euroleague games before being released. Graves has also played for Galatasaray Cafe Crown in Turkey, Elan Bearnais Pau-Orthez in France and Pittsburgh Xplosion in the CBA since finishing his four-year college career at the University of Pittsburgh (NCAA). He helped the Panthers to make it to the Big East Tournament final in 2004, 2006 and 2007. "We managed to keep our core players from last season but our head coach Orhun Ene thought we missed some court direction and that made us take the decision to sign him," Banvit general manager Turgay Cataloluk said. "Antonio's talent and performance will make our team more powerful."
