GOETTINGEN grabs rookie playmaker Dale
Louis DaleBG Goettingen signed playmaker Louis Dale on Thursday, making the rookie the club's third transaction of the week. Dale (180, 22) comes from Cornell University, where he was a three-time, first-team All-Ivy League selection during his four seasons. He averaged 12.8 points and 4.7 assists per game last season – including 21.3 points and 4 assists per game in the NCAA Tournament – and finished his college basketball career as Cornell's all-time leader in assists (470) and also features among the school's career top 10 in scoring and three-point shooting. Dale joins power forward Jermain Raffington as the newest member of the Violets. The club also extended shooting guard Robert Kulawick this week.

"Louis Dale was one of the best point guards in this NCAA tournament, " BG Goettingen head coach John Patrick commented on his new player. "He is a bright and intelligent person who fits into Goettingen very well."
