BG GOETTINGEN brings back Bailey
Kyle BaileyA familiar face is back in Goettingen for the upcoming season as the club inked a one-year deal with playmaker Kyle Bailey on Friday. Bailey (188, 27) arrives from EnBW Ludwigsburg, where he averaged 8.8 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 21 German League games last season. Bailey first arrived to Goettingen in the summer 2006 and had an instant impact, averaging 20.8 points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.8 steals in 29 second division games, helping the club gain promotion to the German elite. Bailey left to join ratiopharm Ulm, but returned to Goettingen in 2008-09, averaging 14.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 23 German League games. He has also played for Florida in the NBDL and BK Riga in Latvia.

"I missed our fans and their support for the team, as well as the good atmosphere in BG Goettingen, on and off the court," Bailey said. "It is hard to describe how the situation has changed in Goettingen over the last four years. We were in the German second division when I first got here and now we are one of the best teams in Germany, playing at the international level."
