BG GOETTINGEN adds big man Waleskowski
Adam WaleskowskiBG Goettingen continued building its team for its Eurocup debut, making big man Adam Waleskowski its fifth signing of the summer. Waleskowski (203, 27) penned a one-year deal with the Violets. He arrives from Achilleas in Cyprus, where he averaged 9.2 points and 5.6 rebounds last season. He has played professionally in Europe since finishing his college basketball career at Florida State University. Waleskowski has also suited up for Ehingen in Germany and Brest, Besancon and Nanterre in France.

"I have been interested in Adam now for three offseasons and I am excited to finally have the chance to bring him in and make him a part of our team," head coach John Patrick said. "Adam is a versatile big man who is comfortable with his back to the basket as well as facing the basket. He is a guy who has a knack for getting rebounds in traffic. We are a team that depends on players' versatility, and I think Adam fits this bill."
