KRASNIE KRYLIA inks forward Nesterov
Konstantin Nesterov - BC Triumph (Photo: bctriumph.com)Krasnie Krylia signed power forward Konstantin Nesterov for the coming season on Tuesday. Nesterov (205, 29) arrives from BC Triumph Lyubertsy, where he averaged 6.9 points and 3.8 rebounds per game in the Russian League last season. Nesterov has previous Eurocup experience from when he played for Unics Kazan. He grew up at Baltyka St. Petersburg before heading overseas to play college basketball at Virginia Commonwealth University. Nesterov returned to Russia in 2002 and has since played for Lokomotiv Rostov, Arsenal Tula, Spartak St. Petersburg, Kazan, Spartak Vladivostok and Triumph as well as part of the 2007-08 campaign in France with Chalons-en-Champagne.
