KRASNYE KRYLIA tabs Jermareo Davidson
Jermareo DavidsonKrasnye Krylia keeps getting ready for its Eurocup debut in the 2010-11 season by inking power forward Jermareo Davidson to a one-year deal, the club announced Wednesday. Davidson (208, 25), an accomplished rebounder, recently played for Caciques de Humacao in the Puerto Rican league. He started the 2009-10 season with Darussafaka Cooper Tires Istanbul, where he was able to display his defensive and rebounding skills. Davidson was the Turkish League's top rebounder (10.7 rpg.) and ranked second in blocks (1.3 bpg.), also averaging 15.9 points in 27 games. Davidson has also played for Golden State and Charlotte in the NBA, as well as for Sioux Falls and Idaho in the D-League since he finished his four-year college career at the University of Alabama (NCAA). He has also been a member of the United States under-18 national team. Davidson, just as his new team, is set to make his Eurocup debut next season.
