SIAULIAI keeps Sarakauskas
Vytautas Sarakauskas - BC SiauliaiBC Siauliai announced on Tuesday morning a contract extension with center Vytautas Sarakauskas (203, 28) for two more seasons. Last season, Sarakauskas averaged 7.2 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 6 Eurocup regular season appearances with Siauliai. Sarakauskas arrived last season from Sakalai, which he joined in 2006-07. There, he won the 2009 Baltic League title. He made his debut in 2004-05 with SKK-Perlas Vilnius of his native Lithuania. Sarakauskas's good season with Siauliai earned him an invite to join the Lithuanian national team for practices this summer at the preparation for the World Championships in Turkey.
