CAJASOL gets big man Katelynas for 2 years
Mindaugas Katelynas - Armani Jeans MilanoCajasol Sevilla announced Tuesday the signing of athletic power forward Mindaugas Katelynas for the next two seasons. Katelynas (205, 27) arrives from fellow Spanish side Meridiano Alicante, where he averaged 11.2 points and 5.1 rebounds in the Spanish League last season. He boasts valuable experience at Europe’s highest levels in two seasons playing for Armani Jeans Milano in the Euroleague. Katelynas left his native Lithuania as a teenager to play college basketball in the United States for Eastern Utah Junior College and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He began his professional career in Italy with a season each at Casale Monferrato and Cantu before joining Milano between 2007 and 2009.
