BG GOETTINGEN keeps John Little
John LittleFIBA EuroChallenge champs BG Goettingen announced the contract extension of defensive ace John Little (180, 26) for the next season. In 37 German League games last season, Little averaged 7.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. This will be his third straight season in Goettingen, the first and only team he has played to in Europe. Little played college ball in Northern Iowa from 2002 to 2006 as in his senior year he averaged 7.3 points and 2.0 rebounds. After a couple of years trying to lpay at a professional level, including a failed experience in the ABA, Little was picked up by Goettingen and there he led the team to the EuroChallenge title last season. He will make his Eurocup debut this season.
