EWE BASKETS signs rookie Muonelo
Obi Muonelo signed with EWE Baskets (Photo: okstate.com)EWE Baskets Oldenburg completed its roster for the new season Monday by signing rookie swingman Obi Muonelo. The club also indicated that Josh Carter will not continue. Muonelo (196, 22) signed a one-year deal with an option for the 2011-12 season. He has already joined Oldenburg at the team’s preseason training camp in Slovenia. Muonelo arrives from Oklahoma State University, where he averaged 13.3 points on 42.6% three-point shooting, 5 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game last season. He finished his college career ranked second on the Cowboys’ career three-pointers list with 245 triples.
