PANELLINIOS keeps Ostojic at center
Djuro Ostojic - Panellinios BCBusy Panellinios agreed to terms with Djuro Ostojic to keep the veteran center at the club for an additional season. The transaction was Panellinios's fourth of the week. This will be Ostojic's third year with the club and his fourth in Greece. Last season he averaged 4.1 points and 3.4 boards in the Eurocup and helped the team to reach the Eurocup Finals in Vitoria. Ostojic (209, 34) grew up with KK Mornar Bar in Montenegro and has since played for Buducnost Podgorica, Lovcen Cetinje and Partizan Belgrade. In 2004 Ostojic left Serbia and begun his international career, which includes stops at Breogan Lugo in Spain, Besiktas in Turkey, PAOK in Greece, VBCM Gravelines-Dunkerque in France and since January 2008, Panellinios. Among his career highlights are winning the Yugoslavian/Serbian championship four times and representing Serbia and Montenegro at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
