PANELLINIOS brings Rancic back
Damir Rancic - ZadarPanellinios brought a familiar face back to the club on Thursday with the signing of scorer Damir Rancic, who played with Panellinios between 2006 and 2008. Rancic (198, 27) led the Eurocup regular season in points per minute last season with 0.73 for Zadar. He averaged 14.7 point and 2 assists off the bench in the Eurocup. He then moved to Obradoiro and recorded 7.2 points per game in the Spanish League. Rancic grew up with KK Split in his native Croatia and has also played for Plastic Solin, Cibona Zagreb and Zadar in Croatia, Panellinios in Greece and Obradoiro in Spain. Among his career highlights, Rancic has won both the Croatian championships and the Croatian cup multiple times and has played for the Croatian national team.
