PAOK extends Todor Gecevski
A former All-Eurocup center has the chance to return to the competition next season, as PAOK announced a new agreement with Todor Gecevski to stay together for one more year. Gecevski (210, 33) grew up with KK Kavadarci in his native country FYROM and then played for Nikol Fert Gostivar, MZT Skopje, Air Avellino in Italy, Brant Hagen in Germany, KK Rabotnicki, KK Zadar in Croatia and PAOK. He averaged 9.3 points on 48% three-pointers, 4.9 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 28 Greek League games last season. In his five seasons with Zadar, Gecevski won two Croatian League titles and lifted three Croatian Cup titles from 2005 to 2009. He also won the FYROM League and Cup titles with KK Rabotnicki Skopje in 2004, as well as lifting the 2000 FYROM League trophy and the 2001 FYROM Cup trophies with Gostivar and MZT Spojke, respectively. In his last Eurocup appearance , Gecevski led Zadar to reach the Final Eight, averaging 14.6 points and 4.5 rebounds in 13 games and being chosen to the 2008-09 All-Eurocup First Team.
