PAOK nabs combo-guard Gray
PAOK BC announced on Thursday that it has signed guard Justin Gray on a one-year deal. Gray (194, 26) arrives from Polish team PGE Turow Zgorzelec, where he averaged 9.7 points, 2.3 boards and 4.3 assists in the Eurocup last season. Turow will be Gray’s fifth team in four countries since finishing a standout college basketball career at Wake Forrest University. He first signed for Verviers-Pepinster and then spent a season with Dexia Mons-Hainaut, both in Belgium, before joining CEZ Nymburk in the Czech Republic for the 2008-09 season. At Wake Forrest, Gray was an All-Atlantic Coast Conference first team selection once and a second team selection twice. Among his career highlights have been representing the U.S. national team at the World Under-21 Championships and winning the Czech League title in 2009.
