PANELLINIOS tabs playmaker Bailey
Maurice Bailey - Union OlimpijaPanellinios upgraded its backcourt by signing playmaker Maurice Bailey, who finished last season with Obradoiro CAB in the Spanish League. Bailey (183, 29) is an accomplished floor general with past Euroleague expeience. He averaged 6.8 points and 1.5 assists per game for Obradoiro last season. Bailey started the season with Crvena Zvezda of Serbia, where he recorded 9.5 points and 1.9 assists in the Adriatic League. Bailey has also played for Union Olimpija in Slovenia, Lokomotiv Rostov and Spartak Vladivostok in Russia, as well as for Etendard de Brest and Sluc Nancy in France. He helped Olimpija to win the 2008 Slovenian Cup and also made it to the French League final with Nancy in 2005 and 2006.
