ESTUDIANTES brings Caner-Medley back
Nik Caner-Medley – Asefa Estudiantes (Photo: ACB)Asefa Estudiantes announced Thursday that forward Nik Caner-Medley will be back with the team this season. Caner-Medley (203, 27) was one of Estudiantes' best players last season with averages of 11.9 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. He ranked fifth in the Spanish League with 2.45 offensive rebounds per game. This will be his second Eurocup campaign after posting 13.6 points and 4.9 rebounds per game for Gran Canaria in the 2007-08 ULEB Cup. Caner-Medley has also played in Europe with Germany's Artland Dragons and for Cajasol in Spain. Before that, he had a successful four-year college basketball career at the University of Maryland, averaging 15.3points and 6.3 rebounds per game as a senior in 2006.
