ASVEL BASKET adds veteran Bogavac
Nebojsa Bogavac - Le MansAsvel Basket signed sharpshooting swingman Nebojsa Bogavac to a six-week deal to help out with Laurent Foirest sidelined. Foirest is still recovering from a ruptured achilles tendon. Bogavac (198, 36) has spent the past several seasons playing in France. He averaged 5.2 points and 2.6 rebounds last season for Dijon. The previous year Bogavac helped Asvel win the French League championship. He began his career with KK Lovcen Cetinje and has also played for Hemofarm Vrsac in Serbia, KK Gorstak in Montenegro, Breogan Lugo in Spain and Le Mans, Asvel and Dijon in France. Bogavac represented Serbia & Montenegro at EuroBasket 2003.
