BC AZOVMASH adds big man Pasalic
Drago Pasalic - CibonaUkrainian League champion BC Azovmash Mariupol bolstered its frontline for the stretch run in the Eurocup by signing big man Drago Pasalic from Euroleague side Cibona. Pasalic (208, 26) appeared in seven Euroleague games for Cibona this season – six as a starter – and averaged 9.1 points and 4.7 rebounds in 24 minutes. He also produced 9.3 points and 4.5 rebounds in the Adriatic League. He has also played for Xacobeo Blu:sens and Bilbao Basket in Spain, PAOK in Greece, Ulker in Turkey and Split in Croatia. Pasalic has been a member of the Croatian national team. He helped Split to win the 2003 Croatian League and 2004 Croatian Cup titles. He also made it to the Eurocup semifinals with Bilbao in 2009.
