BG GOETTINGEN brings Jordan back
After securing a place in the Eurocup Last 16, BG Goettingen fortified its roster by signing swingman Antoine Jordan, who previously played for the club last season and helped the Violets win the FIBA EuroChallenge. Jordan (195, 27) signed a two-month contract. He a versatile player who averaged 3.8 points and 2.1 rebounds in eight EuroChallenge appearances for Goettingen last season and 5 points and 2 rebounds in the German league. Jordan has previously played professionally in Italy, the Netherlands and Lithuania as well as in the NBDL in his native United Staes. He is expected to be in uniform for Goettingen’s Eurocup regular season finale at Besiktas Cola Turka on Tuesday.
"We needed to make another move," head coach John Patrick said. "With key players out due to injury and with all these games coming up we needed an extra player."
