BENETTON BWIN bags big man Skinner
In the wake of losing center Sandro Nicevic to injury, Benetton Bwin Basket fortified its frontline with the signing of veteran center Brian Skinner, who comes to play in Europe for the first time. Skinner (2.06, 34) arrives from Milwaukee of the NBA, where he saw limited playing time this season. Overall Skinner has played 628 NBA games over 13 seasons for seven clubs. He averaged 4.7 points and 4.7 rebounds per game for his career. Skinner's best season came in 2003-04 when he averaged 10.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 56 games for Milwaukee. He could make his Benetton debut on Tuesday at home in the Eurocup against Alba Berlin.
