ARIS adds Thomas at center
John Thomas (basket.co.il).jpgTwo days before the start of the Eurocup Last 16, Aris BSA 2003 signed veteran center John Thomas for the remainder of the season to reinforce its inside game. Thomas (206, 35) played in the Israeli League last season where he averaged 12.8 points and 8.6 rebounds in 22 games for Hapoel Holon. He played much of his professional career in the NBA, appearing in 218 games spanning five seasons with six clubs. He has also played for Al Jalaa Aleppo in Syria, Khimki in Ukraine, Girona in Spain, Xinjiang Flying Tigers in China, Los Cocolos in Dominican Republic as well as several semi-pro teams in the United States. This will be his first time playing in the Eurocup.
