ARIS inks point guard James
Dominic James - Lukoil Academic (Photo FIBA Europe)Aris BC 2003 improved its backcourt by signing point guard Dominic James through the end of the season. James (1.80 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Bulgarian champion Lukoil Academic, for whom he averaged 13.9 points, 3.9 assists and 1.9 steals in the Bulgarian League last season. He also tallied 13.8 points and 4 assists in the FIBA EuroChallenge. James had a remarkable collegiate career at Marquette University and later played for Mersin Buyuksehir Belediyesi in Turkey before joining Lukoil Academic for the 2010-11 season. He helped Academic to the Bulgarian League and Cup double in his season there and led Mersin to the 2010 Turkish Cup final.
