ARIS picks up big man Krusic
Matej KrusicAris BSA 2003 added size to its frontcourt with the signing of Slovenian big man Matej Krusic, who agreed to terms on a one year deal and will have his first season abroad. Krusic (2.11 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Geoplin Slovan Ljubljana, where he averaged 11.3 points and 6.8 boards in 29 games of the 2010-11 Slovenian National League. Krusic grew up with Chemoplast Alpos and played there until the 2006-07 season, when he joined Helios Domzale and after three years he moved to Geoplin Slovan Ljubljana. He helped Helios Domzale to play at the 2008 and 2009 Slovenian National League finals and the 2008 Slovenian National Cup final. As a member of the Slovenian Nsational team Krusic won the bronze medal at the U-20 European Championships.
