Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem has announced the signing of Dan Grunfeld for two seasons. Grunfeld (27 years old, 1.98 meters) arrives to the Israeli capital city after spending his debut season in Israel with Bnei Hasharon last season. Grunfeld, the son of former NBA player and executive Ernie Grunfeld, played four years of college basketball at Stanford University before starting his professional career in Europe. His first stop was EWE Baskets Oldenburg in Germany for the 2006-07 season before moving to Spain where he spent the following three seasons with Aguas de Valencia in the second division, Valladolid with whom he won the second division and played in the ACB for the 2009-10 season. Last season was his first in Israel and he produced 14.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2 assists in 30 games for Bnei Hasharon.
