ARIS adds Euroleague champ Bogris

Bogris (2.08 meters, 22 years old) was a reserve last season as the Greens won the Turkish Airlines Euroleague and the Greek League crowns. He totaled six minutes in two Euroleague games last year, which was his second with the club. Bogris grew up with Kadmow Thivas and then moved to Ilissiakos before joining Panathinaikos. As a member of the Greek national teams, he collected a gold medal at the 2009 European under-20 Championships and the silver medal at the 2007 European U-18 Championships. Bogris is expected to play his first game with Aris in the 2011-12 Eurocup opener on Tuesday against CEZ Nymburk.
