BENETTON brings in shooter Jobey Thomas
Jobey Thomas - AJ MilanoBenetton Basket added some serious scoring punch by signing swingman Jobey Thomas, who has been a double-digit scorer in the Euroleague. Thomas (1.94 meters, 31 years old) is known as an elite outside shooter and is familiar with the Italian League. After playing college basketball for the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Thomas started his professional career with Queluz in Portugal and has since suited up for at Imola, Ferrara Premiata Montegranaro, Armani Milano and Varese in Italy. He averaged 11.2 points in 15 Euroleague games for Milano in the 2008-09 season. Last season with Varese Thomas produced 13.1 points and 2.5 assists in the Italian League, but his season was cut short by a knee injury.
