Richard Hendrix - EA7 Emporio Armani Milan - EB12PBC Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar of Russia improved its frontcourt for the remainder of the Eurocup season by getting experienced big man Richard Hendrix on loan from EA7 Emporio Armani Milan of Italy. Hendrix (2.03 meters, 26 years old) averaged 3.7 points and 3 rebounds in 10 Turkish Airlines Euroleague this season for Milan, which failed to reach the Top 16. Hendrix also earned 2010-11 Euroleague Playoffs Game 1 MVP honors with a 16-point, 16-rebound effort against Caja Laboral. He joined Maccabi in summer 2010 after a great season with Spanish side BC Granada, where he posted 13.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 34 games and was chosen as the league’s Newcomer of the Year. Before joining Granada, Hendrix spent one year in the National Basketball Development League following a successful college basketball career at the University of Alabama. He has also been a member of the USA under-18 national team. Hendrix has already been registered for Eurocup play and will make his competition debut against Cajasol Seville next week.
